6. Electromagnetic Induction Calendering Roller

The manufacturer introduces the electromagnetic induction calendering roller:
- Material Selection: Materials for electromagnetic heating calendering rollers include forged alloy steels and quality steels such as 42CrMo4, 38CrMoAl, 40Cr, 34CrNiMo6, 60CrNi, 9Cr3Mo, undergoing heat treatment processes like quenching and tempering, stress relief, and hardening.
- The roller wall has uniform thickness, and the outer surface, after deep hardening, achieves a hardness of HRC 50-58. Calendering rollers are characterized by high working pressure and susceptibility to deformation, hence a new generation of alloy steel from Zhongyuan Special Steel is selected as the forging material.
- Technical Parameters:
1) Specifications: Ø 200~1000mm × L 600~2500mm
2) Operating Temperature: 100–350°C
3) Roller Speed: 5–50 m/min
4) Linear Pressure: ≤ 1500 kN/m
5) Custom specifications available per client requirements.
4. Manufacturing Precision: Roller surface temperature uniformity, temperature difference ≤ ±1°C. Thermal deformation ≤ 0.01mm at 20°C. Flatness, runout, and coaxiality can reach up to ≤ 0.005mm.
5. Surface Treatment: Hard chrome plating with imported formula, resulting in a fine, strongly adherent chrome layer; can also be customized with fluorocarbon coating or mirror finish per client requirements; for high surface hardness, nano-thermal spraying can be applied, achieving surface hardness ≥ HRC 68.
- Product Features:
1) Adjustable roller surface temperature, meeting calendering process requirements up to 400°C.
2) Excellent roller surface temperature uniformity, with a temperature difference ≤ ±1°C across the effective working surface.
3) High linear pressure capacity on the roller surface.
4) High roller surface hardness, with high coaxiality, runout, and straightness of the roller body.
6. Application Fields: Applied in embossing, calendering, casting, and laminating in industries such as solar photovoltaic, electronic electrodes, battery electrodes, metal foils, optical film casting, automotive glass, plastics, rubber, and specialty papers.
These electromagnetic heating rollers are widely used in calendering processes for solar panels, metal sheets, plastic products, rubber products, automotive glass manufacturing, and aluminum-plastic panels.
In the plastics industry, using electromagnetic heating calendering rollers effectively avoids issues associated with traditional thermal oil heated rollers, such as slow heat-up and environmental contamination from oil leaks, significantly reducing energy consumption and substantially lowering production costs for enterprises. 12. Special Electric Heating Roller for LCP Film

With the increasing miniaturization of electronic products, there is a growing demand for ultra-high precision heating rollers.
LCP film is particularly prominent; used in the 5G industry as a special insulating material, it offers low moisture absorption, excellent chemical resistance, high gas barrier properties, and low dielectric constant.
It is internationally recognized as an essential insulating material for 5G signal antennas. Besides signal loss, interference is also a concern. During low-frequency transmission, with fewer signal lines, interference isn’t an issue, but during high-frequency transmission, multiple signal lines can operate simultaneously.
Nantong Shengbang’s high-precision electromagnetic induction hot pressing roller, utilizing proprietary technology, ensures precise temperature control and minimal surface runout under high pressure and temperature conditions.
It meets the stringent precision requirements under ultra-high production pressures for products like lithium-ion batteries, fuel cells, and LCP flexible copper clad laminates.
